2-1-10

Today was back to my grind. I really love working out at Curves. I love the friendships it has brought me, and I love the changes to my body too. I have 27 more weigh in's before vacation. I want to make them count.

1-31-10

Sunday's usually mean laundry. The kitty loves laundry day too. He loves the clothes when they first come out of the dryer.

1-30-10

Micheal and David went to the Superdome to see the Monster Truck Jam. They said it was alright, there wasn't as much free style like they usually have. This photo was taken by Micheal. He is going to be a photo bug just like me. He has already asked for a camera like mine for Christmas.

1-29-10

Everyone morning starts like this. First the kitty helps me tie my shoes, then he helps David tie his. He can hear the shoe strings rub together from across the house. He is always in such a lovey dovey mood in the mornings. I think he is dreading be alone all day.

1-28-10

This is what I look forward to on Thursdays the most. Thing 3 and Thing 2 aka Anna and Kathy. These two women are amazing. They make me laugh when I want to cry and they keep me honest. Thanks for being my Things, things. I love you both.

1-27-10

Today started like a normal day, but ended in the worse head ache I think I have ever had. I didn't even make it home before I got sick to my stomach. I got home and went right to bed. It wasn't until this morning when I realized I hadn't taken my photo of the day. So this is it, this represents the total darkness that I needed to ease my head.

1-26-10

OMG today was a horrible day. Everything that could go wrong at work DID. I couldn't wait till 5:00 o'clock today to get the heck out of dodge. I walked in the door and David had this T-shirt on. Pretty much summed up how I was feeling.

1-25-10

Today I started the Biggest Loser 6 week last chance workout routine. I didn't have any weight so I grabbed the first thing I could find. I only made it 16:23 mins through the first workout and I was close to throwing up. My goal is to make it all the way through with out either passing out or dying. I am hoping I make it that far by Friday.

1-24-10

Today I got to go out and take DiLsa and Mikes pics. I really loved that they were so into letting me pose them ect. I even lucked up and got this PERFECT photo of David. He is smiling and its in focus. So happy!

1-23-10

DiLisa and Mike came to spend the weekend with us. It was like old times and we stayed up late and played games. This was like old times again. I miss living by them. This was one of the games we played. It was an electronic spin on the Game of Life. We had a blast. Even tho I lost! LOL

1-22-10

McCoy follows Maddie around every where. He has even learned to beg like a dog. He wants to bad to snuggle and love on Maddie but she will not have it. I thought it was funny how the cats body mimics everything about Maddie here, even the shes laying on her paws.

1-21-10

.4 lbs is all that is standing between me reaching my first BIG goal. I am soooooooooooo close to reaching my 10% weight goal. It has been 29 weeks since I started on my journey and I have lost a total of 33.6 lbs. I never thought I would make it this far. I am EXTREMELY proud of myself.
Next week is going to be a GREAT week.

1-20-10

This is where I spent my day today. Some how I threw out my back.......BAD. So David brought me home and got me all set up in the bed. He even fixed me a drink and got my lap top all handy. He is such a sweet guy.

1-19-10

I often wonder if I am the only nut case out there and refuse to mix 'colors'. It doesn't matter what it is, skittles, M&M's, Ice cream or like these Jelly Belly's, I will only eat ONE color at a time. I even divide them up and lay them out.

1-18-10

This week I decided to plan out our dinners and try some new recipes. The thing with Weight Watchers is that you can eat anything you want you just have to account for it. As easy as that sounds it still makes it easy to fall into a boring routine, so tonight's dinner was Parmesan crusted turkey cutlets with lemon wedges. YUMMMMMMY! The lemon gives it an awesome taste. David even said it was a keeper!

January 16th and 17th

1-16-10
After the long week we had, this is exactly what David needed. He napped in the chair most of the day until we watched the Saints walk all over the Cardinals. One more game and then we are heading to the Super Bowl Baby.

1-17-10
David has been craving oysters. So for dinner we went to Big Al's in Houma. You can always tell when its Mardi Gras in southern Louisiana. Everyone gets into the spirit.

Project 365

Well I have decided to take on the task of project 365. I hope that I will be able to follow through. I just have to remember that as long as I love taking photo's then it doesn't matter what they are.

I have been at this for about 2 weeks now, and have just started this blog. So This will be a catch up post. Then I will try and post every day.

1-01-10
New Years Started with Chicken and Sausage Gumbo for the first time. Yummy.
1-2-10 Day 2 started with a self portrait and then a visit from Shauna and her awesome family.
1-3-10 Tried my hand at a photo shoot with Kayla today. Out of 181 photos this one was her favorite.
1-4-10
Today I started back hard core on my diet and exercise routine. This was taken at 5 am when I got up. They were all set out waiting for me.

1-5-10 Well today started out good, until I went to
make coffee and dropped the damn pot.I guess I will be going today at lunch to get David a new one.
1-6-10
There's an App for that.....I never thought that there could be a material thing that I lov
e so much until I got my iPod. I profess my love to it many times a day, and I NEVER leave home without it.

1-7-10

My BMI.I know it's not a number to be proud of, but today it is. Today was the first time since I started all this that it actually registered on the thingy-ma-bob they check with at Curves. So today this number is a great one.

1-8-10
Today was spent on my couch. Mostly playing
Farmville. I took a couple of days off to spend with David. It was way to cold to do anything but veg out and watch TV, while I FB'd.

1-9-10
Today's photo was shot by David, because I wanted this shot, but was scared to death to take it. I have seen plenty of episodes of ER
and Grey's where someone gets impaled by an ice-sickle. this is our tree in the front yard after he hung the hose over the top so that it would make a pretty for the kids.

1-10-10
Kitty in macro. I don't know how this cat puts up with so much but he does. I love my kitty purr.

1-11-10
We made the paper! Today after lunch someone
at work told us that we had made the paper with our ice tree. How very cool.

1-12-10
A very RARE occasion...Micheal doing homework. He probably has only done home work at home maybe 3 times the past 5 years. He has been on the honor roll since he started school. He is one of those kids you hated in school, never had to study, but always made the grade. David and I still can't figure out where he got that from. LOL

1-13-10
Kayla asked if she could start working out with me at Curves. So today was her first day. I have to admit she pushed me, and I really worked it hard. I hit my burn and then some. I hope she sticks with it. She doesn't need to loose any weight, but it would do her good to get some strength in her knees.

1-14-10
David surprised me with this set of rings yesterday. It is to hold me over until he can get my other one fixed. On the in side of one ring it says, Today the other two have tomorrow, and the 3rd says Forever. Some times he can be very sweet.

1-15-10
Sushi night with the girls. I am blessed to work with such awesome people!
